The one-week strike by port truck drivers concluded Friday with an agreement to the Mayor’s request for a “cooling-off” period after the companies agreed to accept all drivers back to work, without retaliation.
The strike against Green Fleet Systems (GFS), Pacific 9 Transportation (Pac 9) and Total Transportation Services, Inc. (TTSI). started on Monday, and brought in support from unions across the region, culminating in a large march on the 11th.
